How I got here
I am a software engineer who got curious, then got serious
I approached markets the way I would approach a codebase. Write the rules down, test them properly, and throw out whatever does not hold up. It took much longer than I expected.
Before
Writing software, not trading
Masters in computer science. I had never placed a trade and no real interest in markets. If you had told me this is what I would be doing, I would have laughed.
Jan 2025
I found futures on TikTok
Not a great origin story. It is the true one. I went looking for how any of it actually worked and mostly found people selling certainty they did not have.
The grind
Self-taught, and expensive
No mentor and no paid group. I blew evaluations learning where the edge was not, which is the part nobody posts about and the part that actually taught me something.
The turn
One setup, finally written down
Everything changed when I stopped collecting strategies and documented a single repeatable one. Sweep, shift, entry at fair value. That is genuinely the whole model.
Now
$500k+ in prop payouts, and the model is public
I still trade the same setup every morning. I post the losses and the blown evaluations too, because a track record that only goes up is not a track record.
I gave the whole thing away because the version of me in January would have paid a lot for it, and nobody would sell it to her honestly.
